Weilberg

Ungsteiner Weilberg

The "Ungsteiner Weilberg", also popularly called "The Red Earth" is regarded as one of the most traditional sites of this region. Already at the time of the Roman Empire its well situated location and fertile earth were an obvious sign for a position of first-rate quality.

Today the "Ungsteiner Weilberg" has been classified as "Grosse Gewächs" site. It constantly presents opulent wines of which the taste is a long lasting one and which can be compared to a refined often tropical fruit flavour.

Ungsteiner Herrenberg

The "Ungsteiner Herrenberg" can be regarded as one of most well-known sites of the Palatinate and is the home of producers of international reputation. Already in 1828 it was awarded the title "excellent" with regard to the "Royal Bavarian Classification of Soil" and therefore earned the name "Grosse Gewächs" site.

Therefore it presents, as expected, minerally elegant wines of high quality with a filigree fruit flavour and a long potential for ageing.
